Voice Bio-metrics provide convenience and security that could be well balanced for Mobile Money. Self service menu options allow to Register, Enroll, a P2P or Funds Transfer, or a simple PIN or Password reset that could happen without any help-desk assistance. Mobile Money subscribers can be on-boarded remotely and Voice bio-metrics enrollment could add few extra pounds of flesh to the KYC process, AML compliance for remittances. It’s Convenient, Reliable, Secure and Inexpensive.

In 2011, our team at Indriya Innovations, Singapore had successfully developed commercial quality voice biometrics applications for mobile devices that can be used for 2FA authentication and identification, for mobile banking and payments. Scroll down to check the videos while you increase your device’s speaker volume. Experience now, the convenience of doing a PIN Reset or a Funds Transfer, safely and securely from your mobile device.

We will soon find out if Jack could finally hijack?

Ever since Apple introduced fingerprint biometrics on iPhones, there seems to be growing interest in using biometrics for 2nd factor authentication in smartphones. Voice biometrics is definitely useful when financial institutions want to have complete control of keeping the biometric data of their consumers safely. And usability wise, it can’t get any simpler than this for biometric authentication.

The number of smartphones with built-in biometric sensors are very limited. Voice biometrics lends itself in a non-intrusive way to use biometrics in all phones (including non-smartphones). It’s probably the only biometrics modality that can be deployed and scaled without much change in infrastructure.
